Jill Silman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a senior performance consultant at Insperity Recruiting Services. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The University of Texas, a master’s degree in HR Management from Tarleton State University, SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and, well, the number of years’ experience in the HR and recruiting industry is too big for her to admit. Suffice it to say, she started her career when big hair, popped collars and shoulder pads were the rage. And, she may or may not have worn a SWATCH watch to her first job.
